Heather Smidt is a Licensed Massage Therapist and Reiki Master. She has been practicing Reiki for over ten years and has had the pleasure to study under three different Reiki Masters (including the late John Harvey Gray). In 2010, she completed her massage training at the Cortiva Institute in Watertown, MA.
She has training in a variety of techniques including Lomi Lomi (Hawaiian Massage), Marma Therapy, Myofascial Release, Swedish, and Deep Tissue. Heather devotes her practice to developing a strong partnership in healing with clients that leads to greater health and wellbeing. This partnership has allowed her to work with clients in all stages of life.
She specializes in working with women who deal with chronic pain, FMS/CFS, anxiety, and depression. Heather has been a member of the team at Oriental Medicine since the Fall of 2009.
