Hilary Illick has been trained in co-active coaching through Coaches Training International (CTI), and the Academy of Coaching and NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming). with additional training in generative somatics. Hilary Illick is on faculty with the Hoffman Institute which specializes in integrating the four aspects of self: emotional self, intellect, body and spiritual self. Hilary Illick feels blessed to offer life coaching sessions at OM, where many practitioners unite to offer their healing services.
Hilary Illick practices life coaching based on the co-active coaching model. Co-active coaching is designed to move individuals towards more balance, more effective process, and more fulfillment in their lives. In co-active coaching, coach and client work as partners focussed on the client's agenda. Rather than viewing the client as a problem to be diagnosed and fixed, co-active coaching holds the client as creative, resourceful, and whole, and serves to guide the client towards her or his own authentic vision and solutions.
In her coaching sessions, Hilary Illick draws on tools of guided visualization, exploring strengths as well as negative saboteur messages, defining values, goal setting, and and connecting with the soul in order to help move clients into their higher selves and towards the lives they want to be leading.
